  6. ledger, purchase daybook, purchase ledger, plus a nominal ledger producing
  7. profit and loss, balance sheet and definable management reports. At the hub of
  8. the system is a cash book that can post directly to sales, purchase and nominal
  9. ledgers as well as providing facilities for other income or payments. The
  10. nominal ledger is "real-time", meaning that posting anywhere on the system is
  11. reflected immediately in the nominal ledger; for example, an enquiry on the
  12. bank account always shows the true balance, not just at the end of the month.
